Happy New Year and wishing you many wonderful times for the year ahead. I hope you continue to stop by and watch this space unfold and evolve!

This is not a resolution but a goal, an aim, something I want to accomplish, sometime in the year 2012!

I have slowly been collecting vintage fabrics to use in  a release of "grown-ups" quilts. Its always been a vision and part of the grand master plan for Maggie and Sparrow to venture into. I think I am almost ready to make the plunge, if not now sometime soon. I currently take custom orders for bespoke quilts in larger sizes, but I fancy creating quilts for the main BOUDOIR that will be available via my online store.

With only weeks left of this pregnancy (I hope!!) I am wise enough not to place to much pressure on myself. My gorgeous growing family come first. Its just a dream I have had for the past few years which I want to see come to fruition.

I guess its a value of mine to always have goals in life no matter what stage of life it is that I'm in. And it is also important for my own well-being to have the opportunity's I do have that come from running my own business. It allows me a creative outlet, personal growth and my own source of income and without these avenues I imagine I would be a lesser being.

Lady Bird I have just found your blog via January 2012 Country Style. Absolutely loved the article so just had to visit your site. I am hooked. I make quilts but yours are very modern and inspire me to get going again. The fabrics you choose are too too beautiful. Good luck with the delivery, will be looking to see what little bird appears in your nest next. Your little girls are adorable and what a great life they have in that lovely property you have. I just love that part of the world.

Firstly - if you venture into grown-up quilts I want to be the first proud owner of one of these gorgeous creations. For years (& I'm not exaggerating...) I've been searching for the perfect quilt but to no avail and have always wished the little people quilts could just be a little bigger for me! Of course this will be after your special little person arrives so keep us posted on this exciting venture!

Such a beautiful article in Country Style!! I was waiting with baited breath after your post about it. It is my special treat each month to sit and dream about my house in country one day - now your gorgeous abode is part of that scrapbook of dreams! It was such a beautiful article and the pictures gorgeous!

Good luck with the next exciting chapter in your life. We look forward to hearing!
