This little boy has stolen my heart. And just as I thought way back in this post he is a gentle little soul, who smiles at everything, he likes to sleep during the day in his rocker amongst the noise of the house - as long as he has been held to sleep first!! At night he likes to sleep in his room and then prefers to join me about 5am. He is calm and relaxed in the bath barely moving a muscle just simply floating about. He looks like he is in heaven as he gets his nightly massage. His favorite past time (apart from breastfeeding of course) is starting out of the windows watching trees move in the breeze. The mobile which hangs above his change table gets him so excited his little arms and legs kick and wave like mad. He is the sweetest thing who loves to chat with his dad, he always has. Before he was born he would start moving as soon as he heard his daddy's voice.

you have an old soul on your hands. lucky you. my little boy will be 13 tomorrow, sigh! i remember how he just loved to cuddle into me as a baby. There is something about a mother son relationship. Safe to say that Elvis is the apple of his mummy's eye! have a happy weekend. Jane x
...warms my heart. I am yet to learn the rhythms of my own little boy. 12 days old today....
He is absolutely gorgeous. Don't you just love those baby arms! Yes, mothers and sons do have a special bond. My third son was a happy and quiet baby who loved his bath, fed and slept well and hardly ever cried and 18+ years later he is much the same. He is the boy who still always has a hug for his mum, even though he now towers over me and pats me affectionately on the head! He is overseas at the moment and I miss him dearly. I hope he will still be as affectionate when he returns.
Oh your little man is grand! Just looking at his pictures made me smile. I don't know how you get any quilting work done, I really admire you for still getting any kind of work turned out. Your children are at that really busy stage of life for mums. I love your mums knitting, very clever. All the best to your lovely family, from the west coast of Canada.
congratulations on your the birth of your darling boy...it is so odd going from one to another but with me it was the opposite all boys and then a girl! enjoy this precious time with them and have lots of cuddles and kissing...they don't like that stuff at 15 & 17 :(
