I have a back load of images of quite a few quilts that I have made over the past few months...crazy I know but yes I have still managed to complete orders.
This is my most recent work called "The White Crowned Sparrow". My client wanted a sneak peak before it hits her mail box. Which will be just in time for her daughters 1st Birthday. The brief was for the quilt to have a strong vintage feel using floral, pastel, wildflower, and muted fabrics in linens and cottons. A special request was to incorporate fabrics in peach and aqua, little girls playing and forest creatures. I just loved the vintage animal fabric I found with squirrels, fawns, birds, racoons, deers, rabbits and even a koala bear!

Just beautiful, glad to see you back, Wendy xx
It was a magic moment to see Eva open up her gift with bright eyes and a playful smile. She naturally warmed to the softness, calm colouring and thoughtful patchwork.
The end result is completely as we'd hoped for Eva - handmade-whimsy perfection, skilfully sewn together into a story of her first birthday.
I'm grateful to have found your little nest, and that we were able to gift Eva with such a special keepsake.
Thank you Kathryn.

This quilt is stunning!
Just love this bespoke quilt Kathryn. Your choice of fabric is sublime, you have a wonderful eye for colour and form. I have been following you blog for some time and I really enjoy the simplicity and gentleness of your photos, both the children and your property. I am sure you are stretched to the limit as are all young Mums but, remember, you bring so much joy to all your readers and I look forward to every post. Thank you...Kathryn S M.
I have neglected your blog for about 18 months. I enjoyed catching up on all of your latest (not the bad stuff)... How wonderful to see Elvis and all of your other new and beautiful creations. I am reinspired to hit my stash to create for my #2 due in 10 weeks. I fear I have a not so calm soul growing - very active! Thanks for sharing and making me and lots of others smile :)
