My client assigned me to make a quilt for her guest bedroom. Her brief was green and blue with a touch of pink. I suggest we blend in some coral too. This is the end result!
The fabrics I have selected include traditional
florals, contemporary patterns, vintage prints, current trends, and modern
designs. The fabrics have been sauced
from Japan, America, France, London and my own vintage collection.
The back fabric was purchased from the exclusive
N.Y company Clarence House. As soon as I found it I snapped it up. Its always a gamble purchasing online but this one paid off as it was absolutely perfect.
This is what my client had to say......
Hi Kathryn,
Wow - the quilt arrived today. I am so in love with it.
It is a bit cold tonight so am cuddled up on the couch with my new quilt
before I surrender it to the guest room! My twin boys love it too and are asking
me where their quilt is - 2 single bed quilts for 5 year old twin boys might be
a job for next year!

i need work on the bias binding - you make it look easy! :)
Beautiful. I've always liked red and green together.
Beautiful quilt, and I love many of the prints you used. I so wish the fabric manufacturers would bring back some of the old prints.
blessings, jill
